Evan Callis

Evan, originally from the Black Hills of South Dakota, graduated High School at Mount Rushmore. Evan graduated from Colorado State University in May of 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture. He started out building a fire pit, patio and a fish pond with a waterfall at his parents’ house growing up and did more for other people throughout his high school years. It quickly became apparent that he didn’t want to spend the rest of my life as a landscaper and so he discovered landscape architecture.

What gets you up in the morning?

I like trying to come up with new ways of doing things. Having traveled so much growing up, I really enjoy seeing the different ways people design spaces. I’ve always liked being hands on, so being able to make decisions on how a site is going to look and function is an amazing opportunity!
